History
The Asbury-Warren Foundation was established by Mrs. Josephine Warren Asbury in memory of her parents, Charlotte and Richard C. Warren. SunTrust Bank serves as trustee of the fund, in accordance with the founder's wishes.
Financial Information
The average grant size ranges from $5,000 to $15,000.
Qualifications and Guidelines
The Foundation primarily funds educational and religious organizations in Appalachia. The governing instrument lists the following charitable institutions as suggested, but not required, recipients:
- Siskin Memorial Fund Chattanooga, Tennessee
- The Tennessee Heart Association
- Berea College, Berea, Kentucky
- The Fuller Theological Foundation, Los Angeles, California
Application Information
The application deadline is July 31. Please use the online application form found on the next tab of this website to apply for funding. Applications must be submitted online by the deadline for consideration at the annual board meeting.
